Most important news to start with, with ‘24 starting, all adult businesses should prepare themselves to pay $450 dollar extra to their acquirer starting 1^st of April.

Registration Fees on the Rise

Before the high-risk merchant starts accepting payments, they need to sign up with Visa. This is not new but from April ‘24, the registration fee is increased to $950 (which means $500 <which you were already giving + $450 more).

Visa says this increase helps to cover the additional operational costs it will incur as it takes a more hands-on approach with the merchant review and registration process.
